Grundfos PACO Pumps

LC, LF, LCV and LCS Pumps

Advanced features incorporated as standard on PACO end suction pumps ensure optimum performance and reliability. These features, as well as optional features that meet specialized needs, are available on the broadest line of high-efficiency pumps offered to the industry.

An innovative pump and impeller design produces a higher operating efficiency – up to 91 percent – and provides a wider band of best operating efficiency, even during conditions of off-design operation.

Quite simply, the PACO line of pumps is the smart choice for lower initial cost, longer pump life, reduced operating and maintenance costs, maximum reliability, and quieter operation.

Applications

  • HVAC
  • Plumbing
  • Pressure Boosting
  • Industrial
  • Water Utility

LCSE Pump

The Grundfos line of LCSE, single stage, end suction, split coupled pumps with integrated motor, drive, and control serves as the industry standard in performance, quality, and durability. With selection of 21 sizes available, the Grundfos LCSE pumps are the smart choice for a number of reasons:

  • Pump, motor, and VFD by one supplier
  • All in one solution
  • Energy savings
  • Grundfos GO technology
  • 35% smaller foot print than frame mount design
  • No baseplate grouting required
  • Lower weight offers installation ease
  • Axially split coupling enhances ease of service and no alignment
  • Spacer coupling allows easy replacement of mechanical seal without removing the motor and drive
  • High efficiency for reduced operation costs
  • Low life-cycle costs

Applications

  • HVAC
  • Plumbing
  • Pressure Boosting
  • Industrial
  • Water Utility
  • Wastewater
  • Agriculture

VL and VLS Pumps

The PACO VL/VLS series of Grundfos pumps are part of the SMART family of pump products which are better engineered to increase efficiency and reduce radial loads. SMART pumps are also designed to help reduce operating and maintenance costs.

The VL/VLS Inline pumps have proven to be extremely versatile, often exceeding the requirements for a variety of market applications, such as chilled water, condenser water, and hot water systems.

WHAT’S YOUR INSTALLATION FOOTPRINT?

When floor space is a consideration, you’ll want to go with the VL. Where many other pumps might not fit, the VL’s vertical inline mounting guarantees the smallest footprint, literally requiring no floor space.

INNOVATIVE DESIGN FOR OPTIMUM OPERATION

Grundfos pushes the limits of pump performance. The VL offers comprehensive sizes and configurations to meet your needs. It has a superior hydraulic and mechanical design, which produces higher efficiency, reduced pump noise, and longer pump life.

The VL can be fitted with a speed-control system, which significantly cuts energy use and provides a pump payback in as little as one to two years.

Applications

  • Chilled Water
  • Condensed Water
  • Hot Water
  • Service Water
  • District Cooling/Heating Systems
  • Boiler/Hydronic Heating
  • Air Conditioning
  • Cooling Towers
  • Pressure Boosting
  • Recreation
  • Plumbing
  • Aquaculture
  • General Industry/Power Plants
  • Water Utility

KP, KPV, KPVS Pumps

The PACO KP/KPV split case pump is a single-stage, non-self-priming, between bearing, centrifugal volute pump. The axially split design allows easy removal of the top casing and access to the pump components (bearings, wear rings, impeller, and shaft seal) without disturbing the motor or pipe work.

The independent bearing housing allows for ease of maintenance without removing the top casing. The double volute design reduces the radial load on the shaft, extending component life, minimizing vibration and providing quiet operation.

The KP/KPV pump also offers high pump efficiencies throughout the range. High energy efficiency along with long pump life and easy maintenance add up to low life-cycle costs.

The KP/KPV pump is ideal for custom applications and is available in a wide range of variants. The high efficiency and low life cycle costs make the KP/KPV ideal for any commercial building, water utility or industrial projects. The KPV pump is available with a liquid cooled sleeve bearing which promotes longer life and reduces maintenance.

The KPVS split-coupled split case pump reduces the mechanical space footprint with its vertical motor arrangement, provides easy access to seal and internal components without ever needing to remove the motor, and needs no field alignment.  The new KPVS also includes all the benefits of a double suction/double volute splitcase design – reduced radial loads mean less noise and vibration while the between bearing design is more robust and greatly reduces vibration.

Applications

  • HVAC
  • Public water supply
  • District cooling/heating plants
  • Cooling systems
  • Public waterworks
  • Process cooling
  • Industrial
  • Irrigation

VSM and VSMS Pumps

Small footprint for tight spaces

  • Vertically mounted top suction/top discharge pump fits where many pumps won’t.

Simplified installation

  • Same-size suction and discharge connections simplify piping.
  • VSM/VSMS pumps don’t require grouting.

Low life cost

  • Contoured suction baffle provides laminar flow to impeller.
  • Suction and discharge bends, eliminating the need for suction diffusers, angle type valves and/or elbows, which improves overall system efficiency.
  • Short shaft with minimum overhang reduces shaft deflection and improves bearing and mechanical seal life.

Easier service

  • Top pull out design allows rotating assembly to be removed without disturbing the volute or piping for ease of maintenance and service.

Reliability

  • Double volute design helps to reduce radial thrust and prolong seal life.
  • Ductile iron construction provides the highest nozzle load in the industry.

Product range

  • Sizes 4” to 10”
  • Flows up to 4100 GPM
  • Heads up to 400 feet
  • Horsepower up to 125 hp
  • Fluid temp up to 275°F

Applications

  • Chilled Water
  • Condensed Water
  • Hot Water
  • Service Water
  • District Heating Systems
  • Pressure Boosting
  • Water Utility
